Vitex - does it work?

I have been taking 820 mg of Vitex since late March in order to regulate AF . So if I get AF tmw I will be going into my second month of Vitex. Anyone get pregnant right away? Anyone else taking Vitex ? We have been trying since February and I heard about Vitex and ordered it off line . I went to my ObGyn for an ultrasound at CD17 for pelvic pain and the doc saw that I hadn't ovulated yet. Crazy thing. Then CD19 I got a super dark positive LH surge! We BD every other day for 5 days. I'm not at CD33 still no sign of AF and bfn 😑☹️. Any clue ?

I'm 10weeks pregnant and I was on vitex for over six months before getting my BFP.

Vitex Actually made my periods farther apart so I stopped taking it. It made my cycle an additional 15 days. Awful if you're TTC!

When does one start taking Vitex? Ive used clomid but since ive read some negative stuff i wanna give my body a break from it cus ive done ALOT of cycles and read that Vitex is the natural form of clomid...

I was on vitex for 3 months. I have PCOS and wasn't actively ttc. I don't think I gave it enough time to regulate my period, but it did an amazing job of clearing up my face, and I also lost some weight! There's a lot of success stories on Amazon but I haven't seen anyone on this app that got pregnant thru vitex exclusively. I got impatient and got pregnant on clomid, but definitely want to give it a second chance after I give birth and stop breastfeeding. Hope it works for you!
