Heart beat was ... Boy or girl?

Got to hear the baby's heartbeat last week, it was 172 (10wks 3days).  I went to an ultrasound yesterday and baby's heartbeat had dropped to 162 also baby measured 3 days ahead!! Let me know what you think!! Thanks!

That scan looks very similar to my little girls scan and her heart beat stayed above 140 every time although it did vary so I'm just going to go with the guess of a girl :) let us know when you know!

The heartbeat theory is over 140 is a girl, right? My son's first heart beat reading was 158 but it kept dropping every appoint until about 20 weeks and leveled out at 130ish. Maybe if it stays high than its a girl, but I wouldn't base it off of just one reading 😊.

I don't like to depend on the baby's heartbeat to tell whether its a boy or girl because the heartbeat bpm changes throughout pregnancy so it confuses me.. but it looks like a girl :)
