Who waited after 6 weeks of delivery?

After having a baby the doctor tells you that you have to wait to go to your 6 weeks appointment and then you can start having sex again. As I know and understand its for safety reasons. But what's your case? Do you wait the six weeks? Or you just wait the bleeding to stop?

Pft 2 babies and NEVeR have I been remotely interested in sex before 6 weeks, honestly I have ZERO sex drive after u give birth for like 4 months sooooo...... Good thing we have sex right up until I go into labor hahaha.

I waited 3 months because of pain from my episiotomy. It's best to wait the 6 weeks

We did not wait and 8 weeks pp I found out I was 4 weeks pregnant!! My babies were born 10months apart!!  And I was breast feeding and had a normal mensural cycle too..

I waited until after 8 weeks. At 4 weeks my doctor said I could have sex, even though the bleeding didn't stop until about 6 weeks. After that I was just nervous to have sex for a while.

2 weeks and used protection main issue is pregnancy to early after birth, especially as your highly fertile after giving birth. U do it when u feel ready I think n if all is ok but any pain stop x

We didn't wait. Our baby was around 2 weeks old. We just used condoms until i got birth control and everything was fine :) I only had two stitches though and my bleeding was never very heavy

My doc says there's no medical need to wait past two weeks except for the fact that you are so fertile. But ONLY if you have stopped bleeding and stitches are out. I had sex again at 2 weeks.
