Should I tell him how badly I want a baby?

So here's the deal. I'm only 19, almost 20, and so is my boyfriend. We've been together for 1.5 years and best friends for longer than that.

I've had baby fever since I was around 14, and for about a year it's been crazyyyyyy strong. Even though I know we should wait a little longer, should I still tell him about my insatiable desire to start TTC? Because it's taking over my mind and heart and it's so hard to keep it from him.

Even if you guys aren't ready/stable enough for a baby, it's always good to be on the same page and know how the other feels about that. It's always worth talking to your partner about your life desires.

You can tell him but I suggest waiting till you get married.  I'm also 20 and married for almost a year on the 30th. We miscarried in Feb and it broke my heart. Going through a devastation like that will either bring you together or tear you apart. Marriage is supposed to be forever so you don't just want to jump into it but so is a baby so you don't want to jump into that either. I know plenty ppl that have had children and now have major issues with BM or BD  (baby daddy not baby dance lol). But just make sure you both are committed to each other before you add a baby. I've always wanted kids since I was a kid. I've always been like a mom and it's hard losing the one thing I've always wanted but my husband was there and still is to help me through it. Just don't do it because you want a baby. Because if you love your future baby you'll want to do the best by them. Best to you and your life ahead of you.

I would be honest with him and tell him how badly you want a baby and see how he feels about planning kids. but I also think you should wait until you are both working good jobs and have stable housing/buy a home etc believe me it is way easier to get schooling and stuff done when your young and before having babies. Don't be upset if he says no way or says in 3 years or something like that. I understand how bad baby fever can be but being stable for the baby is a must before baby comes.

If you tell him you can make a plan for the future so you both know exactly where you stand. I told my partner when I was 24 that I wanted a baby but he wasn't ready so we made an agreement that by the time I reach 30 I wanted to be trying. That way I wasn't too old if things didn't work out between us (luckily that didn't happen) and he could prepare himself and get the life experiences he wanted before we started our family. I am now 16 weeks along with our first.
