Take it step by step! I started out getting a gym membership and committing to once a week to try some stuff and find out what I like. Once I had found some classes/activities I enjoyed I wanted to go more and committed to 3 days/week! Once I went 3 days a week for 6 weeks I bought myself something special.

But weight loss happens in the kitchen! I just thought about everything I was about to eat before I ate it. Being mindful of whether or not I was actually hungry and whether what I was about to eat would be fuel for my body really helped! I drank half my body weight of water in ounces per day and then started making healthier substitutions (eating carrots when I was in the mood for something crunchy instead of chips) and it became enjoyable and sustainable.

No carbonated beverages not even seltzer (as amazing as it is,) the water molecules break up and the hydrogen bonds with the carbon in the carbon dioxide creating carbonic acid which is harmful for your tissues. No sugary drinks. If the protein+fiber is not more than the sugar content in the food don't do it. Legumes are great, like beans but not too many. Another mistake people make is only cardio when they are trying to lose weight. Work your muscles, lift light weights, it tightens you up and you won't need surgery or as much surgery to remove the skin. Work your core and tighten your whole body.

The best way to lose weight is portion control when eating, and eating healthy foods- if you still feel hungry drink a protein shake(: in combination you'll need to work out! I find that beginners like to use the treadmill my advice is walk, jog, run and then repeat when running gets to be too much! I also like to tone legs by using the stairclimber, or the leg weights and tone arms by the little hand weights and holding them out in front of you for a while, then doing curls with them. Also; if you cut out soda and drink a lot of water you can lose close to 5 pounds as your body retains salt and sugar and stores fat. Water has none of that!(: hope this helped good luck!!!!
