Sore area and I used out of date cream on it 😰

My area has just been so itchy over the past few days and I haven't really thought much about it! I've been using sudocreme on it ,because who doesn't love sudocreme? All of a sudden it just got so bad and I went to the loo to sort myself out and I was just looking at the sudocreme pot and it went out 2 years ago!! I don't know what to do and I don't know if it made it worse but I don't really want to go to the doctors either - it's just a hassle! Does anyone have any suggestions of a creme I could get or something I could do as well as what it might be? Thanks (:
