Baby's last name.

So the father and I are unmarried and I do not plan on marrying him at all. He wants the baby to have his last name hyphenated or to have his last name and I do not want that. I want the baby to keep my last name. He is threatening to take me to court if the baby doesn't have his name or have it hyphenated. I will be living in Minnesota or moving back to Wisconsin to be with my mom. I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether or not if he can take me to court over the last name? I also really kinda wish he wasn't in the picture because of how he has treated me in the past and how I really feel like once the baby is here he isn't going to really be there for me or the baby. As a single mom do I have a right to keep the baby's last name as my last name?
