How much texting is to much?

Hey, my boyfriend and I have been dating for almost 2 years now. We live 45 minutes away from each other but hang out all weekend. I don't like to text 24/7 (as in every minute) during the week but he does. It's hard because we just send emojis because we know each other so well and our lives are kinda boring , just school all day. Anyway.. How much texting do you think is to much or to little for a couple at this stage in an relationship. And also how much face timing is to much as well. Do you think texting all the time is necessary? let me know!

The boy I have been talking to for a long time also lives 45-1hr away from me. We find it hard to see eachother but we do see eachother a bit. We don't text on and off for ages. Because he goes to the gym, practice and for a run everyday so I just give him space until he is not busy. I find this is better because when you're actually face to face with your boyfriend it's alot less awkward because you have more to talk about other than talking about all the stuff you said on text.

I've been with my boyfriend for about 5 months. We first started talking about 6 months ago. And during this period of time, we've only not talked/texted each other twice (two days). Imo, texting everyday is important to keep us update with each other. However, it's becoming excessive when all you do in a day is texting/talking on the phone/facetiming. Facetiming everyday is probably too often for me? You (and your SO) definitely have something to do, and it's ok not to talk for a few hours to be able to focus on whatever you're doing as long as you let them know.

Ive been with my man for a year and 2 months and have been texting all day every day since we got together . We text with emojis all the time! If one of us doesnt put emojis then automatically we will think somethings wrong lol but i love texting him all the time we live 15 mins away and see him often but I think i would feel so weird and lonely if we didnt text for a day.

Me and my boyfriend have been together for 2 years aswell and we see eachother on the weekend due to college etc. 
I have to admit, we have never gone a day without texting or/and calling.
Though, if I had to choose one, it would be calling. I don't feel as texting grows the relationship any further compared to calling as it is speaking (real speaking).
Also, I don't think there is a cap or limit to the amount of text going on. It's whatever is comfortable with and your partner.
Talk to him over the phone if you can rather than text. ☺

I've only been with my bf for 3 months BUT in my opinion I think that texting everyday is really important, especially since I don't see him all the time but at the same time I don't think that means that we have to text all day everyday, but it's nice to hear from him
