Baby bag?

So I'm packing my babies diaper bag and also a hospital bag for me. Some people keep telling me oh you don't need to pack his diaper bag but that's what I'm doing! So was curious how many outfits and diapers etc do I put in there? FTM.

I work in healthcare and I'll tell you this much. Your bill is a straight cut package, so whether you pack your own or not, everything stocked in that room needs to go home with you. I urge people to take everything, and to not shy from asking for extras. Pads, diapers, wipes, everything. You're going to pay for it either way, so you may as well take it all. I even brought an empty duffle bag with me to put it all in. Haha.

Most hospitals give you diapers and wipes. Take advantage of that I never pack any diapers or wipes because I'd rather use the free ones my hospital provides

whoever is telling you not to pack a diaper bag doesn't know what they're talking about lol. I'm even bringing my boppy! I have 2 receiving blankets, her big warm blanket, 2 sleepers, 2 onsies, and then she'll get her going home outfit. I've got burp rags and pacifiers as well!

I packed 2 different outfits, a burp cloth and a blanket. The hospital should provide a few diapers, wipes and most essentials you will need. You can always ask them what they give you too. I actually found out on our hospital tour that our hospital provides going home clothes for baby as well!

At our hospital baby needs to wear there clothes until it's time to go home. They also provide everything baby needs. So all I will be packing for baby is a going home outfit and carseat.

I'm going to pack a few outfits,  blankets,  and nursing stuff. I will be taking advantage of the free diapers and wipes rather then use my own =)

I will have a diaper bag as well. We live an hour from the hosptial.  I don't expect to need it though.  In the bag, I will have wipes, and maybe 5 or 6 diapers. I also will have pads for me and some Ibuprofen.

One thing I haven't seen people mention is a nail file!! Most nurses will not trim your baby's nails! Also, it's not recommended to use clippers until they are a bit older. You can use mittens but I was told to bring a nail file to gently file down baby's nails so they aren't so sharp! Safer than the clippers.

I packed 3 outfits ranging from NB-0/3 months since idk how big she's actually gonna be, socks, scratch mittens, swaddle blanket, and some diaper/wipe samples I got.

I packed my sons diaper bag.  I put two outfits just in case diapers wipes pacifier and a pair of jammies in case it's cold and a burp cloth
