Water Weight + Swelling

Hi guys, so I am not complaining at all here but I made it through all day yesterday without any swelling in my feet or hands. I haven't really had too bad of swelling in my hands but my cankles were always bad by noon and my hands are just stiff by evening (everyday since about 20 weeks). It always went away at night time but would come back the next day around noon. Anyways, I haven't had that swelling yesterday or today so I was wondering if that was a sign labor was coming? I have heard before that you lose water weight before giving birth, so I guess I am just hoping it is haha. Anyone else having this happen to them?
