Birth control?! 🙃

Question

Im 19 and I'm not on any birth Control and very scared of getting pregnant. What type of birth control would you recommend?! I've heard bad things about some and the reason im not on my pills right now is because i dont have insurance and i would have to pay for it and it's expensive...Any thoughts?!! Help.....

For the time being, I'd suggest just sticking with condoms. If you use them correctly, they are incredibly effective. Have you considered visiting Planned Parenthood? They've been known to give free birth control to those who can't afford it.

Well if you don't have insurance you could always buy spermicide from CVS, or use a female condom, or your partner could use a condom. Best way to not get pregnant is to stay abstinent until you are able to get the birth control you want. There's a program called project ruby, I think it's called that can provide you with pills if you cannot afford it, or go to planned parenthood.
