Benedryl while pregnant?

I'm afraid to take anything while pregannt except Tylenol. But I have this massive drainage issue that makes me cough so hard I vomit.... I was told I could take sudifed or benedryl.... I'm 15 weeks and just afraid to take either but I'm so miserable, I'm even to the point of throwing up stomach bile!

I take benedryl practically every night to help my sleeping! I had severe insomnia before being pregnant and can't take the sleeping meds I used then anymore so my doctor told me benedryl is completely fine to take.

Benedryl is fine while pregnant.  I have springtime allergies, and it helps me sleep at night because it stops post nasal drip.  It is also safe to take Claritin or Reactin during the day.

Benadryl is fine and unisom for n/v and sleep... claritin or zyrtec for allergies. Colace for a BM. Tylenol for pain. The doctors at my office said anything OTC except decongestants and asprin products basically.

Benadryl ok but NOT Sudafed! Sudafed would dry you up and make u feel even worse anyway.

I was told to take benadryl because of a rash I have and the itchiness it causes.

Taking benedryl while pregnant is fine. It's the only thing they will let you take besides tylenal. I have to get an infusion every 8 weeks and that is what they give me right before it.
