Stories on how your water broke?

Going into labor isn't really something we plan, and the timing on your water breaking can be embarrassing and/or inconvenient! I'd love to hear people's stories! I'm 32 weeks with my first!

I was induced with my first. My entire family stayed at the hospital all day with me. The docs finally decided we weren't going anywhere and I was able to eat real food. (Thank god for that I was hangry at that point). We all jokes about how it'd be like 3 am when it happened. Well at about 1:30am my stepmom finally decided to go on to the hotel. Sure enough 2:45am(ish) I get up to go to the bathroom. Well I had to unhook 9 bazillion wires and untangle them from my IV stand. Doing that while having to pee AND having a bitchy contraction is rather tough!! So I finally get it all done and go to take a step toward the bathroom and by that time I was in a foul temper!! Then SPLASH!!!!!!!! I though I had peed on myself lmfao!! My ex husband woke up to me screaming GD,SOAFB!!!!!!!!!! He went to get the nurses just in case but they were on their way as it was. I guess my cussing traveled down the hall lol!!!! One of em asked me what was wrong so I told her. She tested the fluid and it was my water NOT urine lol!!! So I went pee in total shock and embarrassment!! 😂😂😂. We called my parents and let them know. They had just got into bed when we called 😂😂😂😂.

My friends water broke at work, she continued trying to work until a coworker took her to the hospital. I call that stubborn. Lol

My water never broke, I went to the hospital because i had contractions all night but my mid wife kept telling me i wasnt close together enough to come in, then I started bleeding, I was stuck at 5cm for 9 hours after that before they broke my water for me to progress the delivery..total delivery: 48 hours..I had a natural water birth!
