Moving forward.

There's a guy I really love and I know he has feelings for me but I feel played. We talk everyday and spend time together and act like we are in a relationship. Everybody thinks that we are but We've been dealing with each other for an extremely long time and he still hasn't moved in a direction to make the relationship go anywhere. He knows I want to be with him and I've made it known before we even started dealing with one another. When I'm ready to walk away from the situation, he's always apolologetic and saying he wants to be with me and he does all this really nice stuff to show that he wants me in his life but then nothing changes. It just feels like this is going nowhere. I want to stick it out for love because I know when you love someone, you don't just walk away. I'm over it and I'm so hurt because I really love this guy but know that I have to walk away from somebody I truly care about. It doesn't help that I see him all of the time because of work but I just might quit my job.. I feel like I'm beginning to hate him because I just feel like I'm being taken for granted while I'm trying to show him that I honestly love and care for him. But It just feels like it's all a waste of time at this point because it must not mean anything. I'm not good enough for him to love. I wonder what am I doing wrong for him to not commit to me. He made a comment about me reminding him of a little girl the other day and I've been self conscious about it ever since. Especially because I still live with my parents and financially I'm not in a stable and comfortable space to move. Now it just seems like I'm just being used for sex and it makes me feel so dirty and worthless. He said it's not like that and he would never think those things of me but what am I supposed to think if he doesn't even want to commit to me ?? I wish I never met him. This is so confusing. My heart just hurts so much. Some Memorial Weekend I'm having where I just wanna just lay in bed and cry.
