Was i wrong

So i told my bf that i wanted to start using bc, he immediately got offended n i broke down why. We are not in a good financial place right now and i dont wanna be worrying about how i will get the stuff the baby needs. I made the adult decision no matter how much it hurt me. He went all off the deep end n said it ment that i dont wanna marry him n all that good stupid stuff. We argued about it for 2 days. I could have just not told him n just started taking them. We argue about stupid stuff all the time. So i told him the next time we get in a big argumet over somthing stupid im ending it for a while.
