Hemorrhoid relief??!

I am in serious pain! Can't even walk!!! I have a hemorrhoid that's on the outside of the anus and can't find relief. I've used tucks witch hazel pads, ice, bath with Epsom salt, and preparation h, and an internal suppository. It just developed last night from having diarrhea plus being prego?!

Has this happened to you? How long did it take to heal? I haven't looked at it yet because I'm deathly afraid lol I'm in so much pain!!!! 😩

My dr prescribed me proctofoam and told me to use an otc medicine called recti-care (it's numbing stuff).. the combo helped me a lot

It takes more than a day. Use the preparation h 4 times a day like it says.  It should get more comfortable within a week.

If it continues to get worse it may be thrombosed. The best thing may be for the doctor to numb it and lance it (or remove the blood clots) you will have instant relief and heal up a lot sooner than letting it absorb on its own. You should see the doctor within a day for two of your symptoms though. Make sure to stay super hydrated, increase fiber and stool softener so you don't have to strain

My best friend is a pharmacist. Don't bother with Tucks or Preparation H or any if that. It won't work. Get some generic CVS or Walgreens or whatever brand anti-hemhorroidal ointment WITH 1% DIBUCAINE. Problem solved. Seriously. It is literally the only thing that works.
