Incisional Hernia Repair After C-Section

My son was born via c-section 20 months ago and it was a very traumatic experience for me. That c-sec is the only surgery I have ever had and unfortunately it went terribly wrong due to mistakes made by my previous Dr and the hospital. I won't go into detail about what exactly happened or the steps that needed to be taken immediately after...one because it's lengthy and two because it's a little TMI...but now almost two years later and I am having a surgery in two days to hopefully finally put an end to my nightmarish birthing experience. I'm honestly completely terrified and I was hoping to hear some positive words or stories from anyone who has maybe had a similar situation? Even negative experiences I would like to hear as well so I can be as educated as I can possibly be going into this. Thanks! Xo
