Do we buy our own crib?
First time mom-to-be, just wondering how it all works and what everyone else does. Do we buy our own crib and other furniture and hope for the other stuff to come at a baby shower? Or do we put everything on a registry and share it with family first so they can have dibs on the larger items (if they want to buy them)?
I'm sure it depends on each situation, but I have a feeling this baby will be spoiled since he/she will be the first grandchild and great-grandchild on both sides.
