Is it odd that my bf doesn't masturbate?

Does anybody's boyfriend masturbate even though they are in a relationship? I've heard it's normal for guys to masturbate once or even more times a day even if they are having sex regularly. We have sex regularly but it's pretty much one and done for the day. I've asked him about it before and he said he just doesn't feel the need to masturbate since we have sex regularly. He said that he used to when we weren't together and we've been together for a year and a half and he can only count the number of times he's masturbated on one hand, except for when we were in a long distance relationship for two months. Just didn't know if it was something kind of odd since most guys masturbate frequently whether they are having sex a lot or not.
