Would you let your guy go to a strip club?
We have been together for 7 years, married 3 of those and for the last 2 years I have known about his masturbating to porn. I do not like pornography and I feel the same towards clubs but I also feel I am being too irrational. I'm not the girl that doesn't give two fucks, I actually do give them. I can't see my husband paying another woman to dance all on him and come home to me, I'm glad it would be him coming to me but I wouldn't like where the sex would be initiating from. This sounds like I have trust issues and it is not with him, I think it towards others more.

He has been a great man and never asked if he could go to the clubs but with this stage of life and friends getting married and possibility of bachelor parties, the topic arouse and we are facing it now and I'm not sure what to do?! Since neither have been should we go together first? How do others feel about porn and strip clubs?

My opinions have changed on this within the past year. I used to be the one to not give two shits. I actually went to a club with my husband while we were dating and although I think he paid more attention to what the dancers were doing to me, it makes me cringe to think I thought that was okay. When it comes down to it, this is a personal preference, but in my opinion: he should only have eyes for you. The media and our culture have totally wrecked what sex should be, especially within the boundaries of marriage. I have struggled our entire relationship with this. Should I be the cool, sexy girlfriend that let's her man oggle and drool over other women? Or should I stand my ground and let him know that true love means letting go of lustful intentions and selfish behavior? My husband was the typical man that enjoyed porn, and admiring/commenting on sexy women. We have had long talks about what women go through and how porn is demeaning and looking at women lustfully is disrespectful to not only the woman, but to me, his wife. We've also talked about how porn alters everything from your hormones to brain chemistry. He has changed his entire outlook on this issue and doesn't watch porn anymore. If he sees a beautiful woman, he admires her beauty, but doesn't imagine himself plowing her. If I deny him sex (because of my period, or whatever), I usually give him hand jobs or blow jobs, or he masturbates (and get this- to pictures of me). He is actually a lot happier and our relationship is stronger because I am no longer insecure. He said he didn't even like the clubs anyway.

Bonus: he is more secure with his confidence knowing that I follow these behaviors too. I don't fantasize about other people any more, even cute actors in movies. It has made us appreciate each other more, and has helped us grow more attracted to one another. Sex is better, for both parties. Maybe that's good incentive for husbands: better sex and a confidence boost!

We decided to keep sex inside our marriage. Neither of us watch porn, and strip clubs are absolutely not an option. He thankfully feels strip clubs are disgusting anyways, but any sexual stimulation comes from one of us, no outside factors in our bedroom lol

I don't care about porn but I draw the line at interacting with other people whether it be online or in person. So no, I wouldn't be comfortable with him going to a strip club. He wouldn't want me going either. Obviously he's a big boy and I don't own him but I would be very unhappy if he went against my wishes. I don't have many "rules" as a wife and feel this is one that should be respected.

Strip clubs don't belong in a marriage: personally my husband wouldn't go as he doesn't like them he thinks they are trashy so I've never had this problem:: things like this should be sorted before marriage about what u class as acceptable etc :: it's about respect and trust
