FMLA(Maternity Leave)

So I'm confused as to how it works, the pay, I've tried talking to the person that's incharge of it & she isn't returning my phone calls or emails. Now I had my son the 6th of May. Got paid that day, fine. The next time I got paid was the 20th, normal pay, haven't been to work since I had my son. Now yesterday I got paid & my check was beyond cut S H O R T! Is that normal or not? This is my first time being on Maternity Leave
