Killer children-Tough subject

Hello, ladies. Has anyone dealt with their children killing or torturing small animals like dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, or hamsters? How did you go on about it? My 8 year old daughter tortured our chihuahua while I was sleeping and our poor fur baby didn't make it. I'm so distraught. I'm even more distraught because of my daughter. I already made her appointments to see the doctor and therapist. There's no way she was sexually abused because I'm a SAHM and my husband(Her dad) would never hurt her.

Thank you ladies. It's really tough wrapping my head around this whole situation. @Skyelynn, I know the people closest to a person can end up being the ones to be the abuser. I know what you mean and I'm sorry you never got your justice. He's an amazing father and would do anything to protect her.
