Jobs.

Anyone else's parents don't allow them to get jobs? im 16 years old and come from a family of 7 kids and only my dad works. i would like to be able to help out like with food or just taking care of myself more but no. my mom says that i do too much between soccer, band, and school. but i really think i could do it. i personally feel like she doesn't want me to grow up and become independent. anyone else's parents or parent like this?
