how big is too big for clots?

I'm passing clots about the size of golfballs.. not very frequently anymore.. but just had one. Going through a pad every hour to two.

Is this all normal? I'd have only been 6 weeks.. just feels like a ton of blood..

That's how mine was, started out with a quarter size, then went to the size of my palm. While those were happening I had major cramps and every so often it felt like I was peeing blood. After a couple hours (I'm pretty sure I had labor pains) I passed a grey clump, about the same size as the clots. Then it all started to slow down after that.

I went to the doctor before it all started (I was bleeding like a period) and was told to go back if I used a pass an hour, but there was no way I could (i was at least 20 mins away and would have stained the vehicle seat) I just let it run its course and let my body do what it needed to do without interference ( other than a hot bath and some Tylenol)

I was passing clots like crazy 5 days after d&c. They were all about the size of ping-pong balls but the largest one was the size of a baseball (so scary). I called my doctor and he said it was completely normal and fine. However, he said that I SHOULDN'T be soaking through a pad in an hour. Since you are I would go in, or at least call to be sure your okay. I know it's scary but I'm praying you'll get through this hard time. And that you have a healthy and quick recovery. 💖 So sorry for your loss.
