Creating sleep routines


So, we were trying to implement sleep routines to help us eventually sleep train. Like certain scented Lotion with changes at night, white noise, dark room, vs our daytime routine of sunshine, noise etc.

But all this pressure on starting at a certain time of day is making me crazy. For a week he had some kind of consistent sleep pattern, and now, I guess due to a growth spurt he's all out of whack! I think I'm just going to let him fly and maybe when he starts to show a new kind of pattern to sleeping for the night I'll retry.

Is anyone trying anything to begin the sleep training process?
