Do you try on nail polish at the store?

I tried on nail polish at rite aid then bought one. I've yet to ever see a tester nail polish. One of the people told me to not do that again. I've been doing it my whole entire life so I thought it was the norm.

No.😩. At least you bought it. I know some people who try it on and put it back on the shelf. It's gross and unhygienic. (Although nail shops use the same nail polish on customers.)

Nope I see it as stealing.  Just like people who buy grapes or fruit and eat a couple before they pay.  Grapes are buy weight so you are stealing.  But nail polish it's like stealing from the next person.  I think it's wrong.  If there is no testers then to bad.

I dont sit and paint all of my nails with it but i do put a little dab on my thumb nail to make sure I like the color. I'm not paying 10-15 bucks for a nail Polish I don't like  lol. Oops! 🤐🙊🙊

No. That's almost as nasty as how you can tell that everyone thinks you can test the lipstick and stuff. Would you buy that? No! You want to buy a new bottle. And you definitely don't want to test one that someone else tested, either, because Ew! People generally don't buy what they test, and you wind up with stores having to throw out tons of used makeup. It's like stealing because it still ruins the product to where people don't want to buy it.

Because who the heck wants to buy the opened one, even if they freakin opened it?

The way I see it if I'm paying an arm and a leg for it then I'm definitely going to see if I like it first! Cuz some are cheap and crappy

No its stealing. How would you feel if you paid good money on a nail polish only to find out multiple people have used it to paint their nails for free? I'd feel ripped off! Good nail polish isn't exactly cheap. Especially if it wasnt a full bottle. People like you are the reason I don't and will make sure to never buy the one in the front! And it can be a gamble on the color. if it's actually acceptable to paint your nails in the store with the polish why don't they have a little booth just set up right there to do your nails, instead of buying and taking it home???
