Is That Fair ??

So Long Story Short. I Am A Stay At Home Mom && My Son Is 3. I Don't Go Out I Dont Have Friends. My Son Is Literally My World But Sometimes It Can Overwhelming. I Am In A Relationship and There Are Times When I Just Want Time To Myself To Either Go Somewhere Or Even Spend Time With My 5 Sisters. Yesterday My Sisters Told Me Come Out For A Girls Night. I Asked My S/O To Stay With My Son (not his biological child) But He Said No. He Knows I Don't Go Out Or Have Time To Even Get My Nails Done. I Feel So . . . . Idk. What Should I Do ??? Is This Fair ???

Yes and no. He's not the biological father so he might feel its not his responsibility. Also if he wants something serious your son should be important to him too.

Are you married to him? Do you guys live together? Its not his bio kid so if you arent married or not living together i dont think its his responsibility. There might be other reasons why he dodnt want to also.

I know how you feel. Being a stay at home mom can be overwhelming, you're not alone. If your s/o can't watch your son, do you have another relative or close friend that could watch him? You do need to take time for yourself/take care of yourself  to be a better mom/girlfriend /etc. Maybe explain that to your s/o so he understands why you need this girls' night out.

That does sound tough. I would say though if your so has made a commitment to you, then he has made a commitment to your son. My husband has a son and since I made the decision that we had a future I took on 'mum' duties to his son when he was at our house. I never try to replace his mum but if my husband goes out then I stay in and it works both ways. We just parent as if he was our own child and we make arrangements around that. What would he do if you guys had you own children? Look after them on his own but not your son? I hope you get it sorted out and get some 'you time' soon x

Thanks I Will. I Just Feel Like I've Lost Myself After I Had My Son. And As Far as Family They Tell Me Thats My Responsibility So I Really Have No Help. Im really by myself and its just a lot at times.

We have been together for two years and a few months. Yes we do live together. He loves my son like his own just don't understand.
