Shingles worry

Just needed to let this out. Today my MIL was diagnosed with shingles. My Doctor told me I've had chickenpox so should be fine, but best stay away from her for the next week to be safe. So that's what I'm doing. My husband thinks I'm overreacting and we could go over to see them as I won't be touching her. I just want to be safe as it took two years and two rounds of IVF to get to 10 weeks pregnancy. Or am I overreacting?????
