Spot on breast? TMI

Ladies, I've had this spot on my left breast for a while. It looks like a bruise, but it doesn't hurt at all. The spot was just about the size of a dime, and not very dark. But within the past month or two, it's gotten longer, and has kind of gone across the underneath of my areola. What could this be?
