Seeing a doctor by myself.
I'm able to make my own doctor appointments now and I really want to take that step towards being independent, but my mum is extremely overbearing, and would probably be angry if I made my own appointment and went without her knowing.
She expects me to tell her everything that is wrong with me, and I understand why, but this isn't something I want to talk to her about yet. I want to do it on my own without having her judgmental gaze on me as I speak.
I'm scared though, I have never done this before, and whilst I like my doctor, I feel as though I'm going to sound really stupid to him.
Did anybody else go through this?
How do I deal with the nerves?
