Sex Ed.

Da

Serious thought for the day. I've heard a lot of people say they always thought it wouldn't take long to conceive.

Do you think Sex Ed in schools contributes to couples waiting longer and assuming ttc will be easier? For healthy couples it's quite normal to take 6-12 months according to health professionals. Was thinking back to high school sex ed and I remember being told how easily you can fall pregnant and that it can happen ANY day of your cycle.

I'm not suggesting we tell girls and boys it's hard because that would lead to unsafe sex.

I'm just asking if it influenced what you thought ttc would be like:)

Edit: I think I'm being misunderstood. I'm not saying you cannot get pregnant first time trying. I'm just saying that there's a lot more to it than sex = baby and that ovulation and your chance of getting pregnant isn't discussed much in sex ed.
