Crazy
I saw a post on the top posts about checking your SO's emails/phone etc. without them knowing, and the amount of women that said that they have is mind blowing. A lot of them say things like "if he has nothing to hide then he should let you go through his phone" but that sounds crazy to me! I think that if you trust him, you shouldn't feel the need to go through his phone. It makes me feel uncomfortable when people go through my phone, no matter who it is. My boyfriend has my password and I have his, and we've used each other's phones before but I've never went through his phone searching for something. The only, and I mean absolute only, reason you should go through your partners phone is if you have reason to believe that they're doing something that they haven't told you about, and even then, I think the first thing you should do is talk to them about it. If you have a relationship where you feel the need to go through your partners phone, then maybe you don't have such a good relationship! There's definitely a trust problem there, for whatever reason it may be. I do believe that it is an invasion of privacy, and just because you're in a relationship it doesn't mean that you have to share EVERYTHING with them. I have nothing to hide, but if my boyfriend went through my phone and saw everything that I commented, posted, texted, etc., then I would just feel uneasy. I don't like the idea of someone knowing everything about me, and I do not want to make him feel uncomfortable or feel like I don't trust him, which is why I would never go through his things unless I had a damn good reason.
So, how do you all feel about this?
