I've read that at about 18 weeks your baby can hear your heart beating, blood pulsing through the vessels in your lower body, and the digestive system churning around. Ans the reason why newborn babies usually stop crying when they are placed over their mothers left shoulder is that they recognize that comforting memory of her heartbeat!!! ♡♡
