Why would a doctor move ultrasound up three weeks?
I went to my first appointment last week at 8w pregnant, and after the urine sample and pap I was told everything looked good and they'd see me in a month for my first 'early' ultrasound.
As I was waiting to schedule the appointment, my doctor skipped to me with a smile on her face and whispered that she actually was going to have them schedule me in a week instead of a month.
What would make a doctor move an appointment up three weeks? She didn't seem concerned or anything, in fact she was laughing with the lady that runs labs and whatnot that she was apparently talking to about my appointment . Nothing ominous that I know of...
Any idea what it could be? They said that all my labs were perfectly normal and everything she checked looked good?
It's a really busy group and they couldn't get me in until two weeks out, so she didn't move me up for that?
