Sex during pregnancy

My husband and I had sex today (after not having sex for like a week) I went to bathroom right after we finished and when I wiped there was blood, a little more red than pink and not too much. I'm not in pain and I'm not cramping, I feel completely fine. Is this normal? I have a Dr's appointment first thing in the AM, but just wanted to see if anybody here knows. Thanks!
