Newborn Thinks He's Starving

Have any of you had your baby yet, and your baby thinks they are hungry all the time?? I can breastfeed on each side for 30 minutes and he will still be hungry.... We were told to supplement formula when he was born because he had jaundice and they said the best way for it to clear out was eating and pooping. So whenever I've breastfed on both sides and he's still hungry after, I make a 2oz bottle and let him drink however much he wants. He seems to be more hungry lately though... So today after breastfeeding two times in each side within two hours...  I decided to just pump and feed him from a bottle all day to see how much he's really eating.... In one hour I pumped and gave him an ounce, and then he was still hungry so he ate a 2oz bottle and is still acting hungry..... 🙁
