Amazed at my BF!!! Your ADVICE WORKS!!!

So I first want to thank you ladies because you all seem to give great advice!!! A while ago I post about my BF making me feel ignored. I'm not the argumentative type person I don't know if that's good or bad but I never been the type. Well I taken your advice and things has changed tremendously! As some of you know we live in different states 4 hours apart... Well tonight he ask me if its ok if he hangs out with his friend that helped him fix his car? This was so new to me because he NEVER ask me what he could do.. He would normally go out not communicate with me and not mention his weekend plans. I normally don't find out what he did until Sunday 😑I was so amazed by him asking me that I jokingly said " NO YOU CANT SIKE BABY JUST PLAYING GO OUT AND ENJOY YOURSELF BE CAREFUL AND HAVE FUN" I don't know if our communication will continue as well as its been...but I'm enjoying it. We have a baby on the way and we really want to beat the odds. My question to you all is what are ways I can show him I'm appreciating his communication and how do we keep this going? It's hard being in a long distance relationship but it's not hard to love, and stay faithful to him😊
