Hey, ladies who cook! What's the recipe you're known for?
Mine is below:
Miso Soup
2 bunches of scallions
3-4 medium carrots
6 tbsp of red miso paste
3 bunches of greens like Bok Choi or spinach
Two bunches of fine udon or spaghetti
Seaweed (optional)
Optional:
Mushrooms
Sesame oil
Sesame seeds
Tofu...
Fill a large pot of water and put on medium- high heat. Chop scallions and carrots and boil until the carrots are soft, 7-10 mins. Put in seaweed, if using.
Wash and chop greens into strips and boil until just cooked, about 5 min. Turn down heat and taste the cooking liquid, seasoning to taste.
Bring back to a boil and cook the noodles in the same pot according to package instructions or al dente. Once they are done, put heat on low.
Half-fill cup or small bowl with water and add miso. Whisk until smooth. Pour into the pot and taste.
Serve immediately or put in refrigerator for up to a week.
