Induction Tomorrow 😬

Rachael • After 7 years together we are now expecting our first baby July 16 🍼🍼
So tomorrow I am booked in for an induction at 38+5 as my little girl has a heart defect that will need operating on shortly after birth.
This is my first pregnancy and I am so nervous!!
Not only am I worried about how much more painful people keep telling me inductions are (my midwife sniggered when I said I wanted to try not to have an epidural straight away and try with gas & air) but I don't know how I am going to cope when she is whisked away to special care and then later operated on.
Has anyone been through a similar situation or even have any advice about inductions?
😘
