Need some advice from non judgmental women about regret?

So first off I'm pregnant with twin baby girls 5 months. I got pregnant with iui and me and my husband were trying for about 4 years so we definitely wanted to have baby. When we went to doctor and found out it was twins things changed from excitement to worry. We start thinking about how we live in nj and all our family stay nc . And it's just us. I don't know anyone at all. I dont even think who is going to throw a baby shower. I feeling alittle regret like I should have waited or never did this because it's a nightmare. I feel terrible. I need words of encouragement

Take a deep breath. As far as a baby shower, you could send the registry to your family and they can send you things in the mail, or if it's larger (hopefully cribs and car seats) you can pick it up on the store. As far as it being just the two of you, start thinking about what will happen after your little darlings arrive. Do you work? Will you continue to work or will you do daycare? Look at what makes the most sense financially and go with that. The first few weeks are rough, and will be harder with two, but it WILL get better. I can only imagine the worry you are feeling right now, but remember, you will have double the smiles, double the giggles, and double the cuddles.

You might not have a baby shower. (Going. Through same thing family in California and I'm in NC)
But what we are doing is giving our baby reg out to family and friends and if they want to buy they can mail us it! It's an alternative.

Hey momma you can do this :). It will be challenging but worth it :) I am an identical twin and life is amazing with her by my side .   As for my mom she said it was challenging but great because I always had a playmate.  Stay strong and take things day by day ;)

Are you afraid you won't be able to care for two babies? If so, my sister (18) has twin girls, no job and no dad around! Now yes she does have my grandma to help out tremendously but no one other than that. They said it honestly wasn't to bad caring for twins. The financial aspect of it can be a bit stressful at first but they got through it with in the first few weeks. You could always FaceTime/Skype your family with the baby if need be. I also thought the idea of sending out your registry card to family and friends was great! ☺️ if my irresponsible 18 year old sister and my grandma can do it, I'm positive you will be AMAZING! ☺️

Honey I know exactly what you mean. My family lives on another continent and they have a different time zone LOL!! I'm SO not getting a baby shower, but!! Need not to worry, you will be just fine. I freaked out and I'm not even having a twin. My pregnancy was planned as well but sometimes you freak out and that's very normal. You will be fine and like the other ladies said: send them a registry. I used BabysRUS registry and I got a ton of coupons that I'm using for my baby's registry. If you find the right deals, you may not even need a baby shower.

I live in fl with my fiance, we only have one person that I can trust over here. Both of our families live 2000 miles away and at one point I would cry and worry about the baby cuz we have no one and the one person we don't have out here, we have to help out cuz  their husband doesn't help out. Then I came to realize that everything is going to work out for the best. We love our baby and even if I have lonely or worried I know I have my fiance. I think you will be okay. Have u guys thought about moving back to nc? We thought about moving back to where our family is from and decided that would be the best thing for us

Honestly I understand you completely, you aren't the only woman who regrets getting pregnant. God sends these babies for a reason though, it was meant to be. And although it may be tough in the months to come, you will be very happy to have your baby girls with you. It won't be easy, but have patience and be positive about your pregnancy. Don't have any regrets.. Having a baby period is amazing. I'm about to be six months and I live in philly but my family in NJ. Knowing that your having twins may be stressful, but God won't put stuff on you that you couldn't bare.

I suggest googling playgroups and mom groups, even prenatal groups/classes. You can meet some other moms and make some friends with clearly the same interests as you, the babies!

I believe in you! See if there are some mom groups in your area you can maybe join to get the emotional support/second set of hands you may need from time to time and always remember you got this! You get double the bundle to love!
