What's the different between the blue ones & the white ones? This is my first pack. Also, when is it okay to use this as my only method of birth control?

The white pills are sugar pills (when you'll be on your period) and the blue pills are the active birth control pills. I would finish off that pack before you use that as your primary birth control.

It's fine to use it as your only method of birth control after your first week on the pack. You can google your specific brand for more info. The last week of a pack is the inactive week- it's a "break" from the hormones designed to let you have a period while still keeping you protected. You technically don't have to take them, but they're called reminder pills for a reason- they remind you to keep taking your pills.
