37 week exam today...

So today I went in for my 37 week check up I had been having very little baby contractions while waiting. So after I got checked I spotted which she said would be normal but I have never spotted before. So now I am up because I have been have constant contractions since 11:20. I'm not sure if I should go in to the hospital because I don't wanna be sent home for not being dilated far enough. Any suggestions?
