After noticing I was bleeding...

After noticing I was bleeding a little heavy I called my OB. They weren't in the office at the time so I had to wait for an on call doctor to call me back, and I was freaking out the whole 10 minute wait. This is my first pregnancy, and I know spotting is normal, but I was alarmed with the amount of blood there was. I couldn't keep myself level headed, I just thought the worst. Finally they called me back and I went to the ER. The first thing the nurse said to me was, "I'm sorry" and I'm like seriously? How is that supposed to make me feel better and calm down. Finally the doctor came in and got an ultrasound. He wasn't saying anything for a long time, just kept looking around and I didn't see the baby moving. My heart sank. Then finally, he goes "yep, there it is" and I could see the heart rate. I had gotten an ultrasound a week prior at my normal appointment and I wasn't very emotional, but this time I started bawling. I've never been more relived in my life. I was able to get a really cool photo, too. It's like she/he's saying "HA! Got ya!" Totally my kid 😂 10 weeks 1 day, due date is my birthday 😍 January 10th.

I know bleeding is common in the first trimester, this is my first pregnancy and the amount of blood was alarming.
