Fussy baby and feeding?

Question

If I've not long fed and changed my baby and she's still being fussy should I feed her again?
I've been told yes because it's comforting and that's what she really needs and that you can't over feed a breastfed baby. 
I've also been told no because it causes bad habits. 
I really don't want to introduce a pacifier because I'm still finding feeding somewhat painful and my lactation consultant said to avoid it. 
Bubs is 5 weeks old, I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

If she's rooting, then yes-- offer your boob. She may not be hungry but since you are not introducing a pacifier just yet then your boob is what soothes her. There's no real harm in offering boob since it sounds like you're EBF - at the very least it'll help boost your supply. 
Alternatively you can try just picking her up and walking around to see if that calms her down. Lastly, check her diaper anyways - my LO loves to pee in a fresh diaper about 15 mins after I've changed her.

My baby is 6weeks old and has been the same just wanting to feed all day n night...this week she has had some long burst without being feed every 5min. It's actually become easier and last night she sleeped 6hr😊 I do feed on demand, it does get easier and become shorter to feed... So just keep doing what your doing, if baby is to full he/she won't want to feed or maybe be sick like mine does lol
