Anybody not dilate till labor?

I just don't understand how I can be 39 weeks and not dilated at all and haven't even dropped. I'm so frustrated and discouraged.

Don't feel discouraged! Be excited!! No matter what your little one is almost here mama only a week or two to go. I was only dialted at 1cm I think beginning at 38 weeks! Went past my due date, was scheduled to be induced at 41 weeks and 2 days later my water started to leak. Even after my water broke and hours and hours into labor I stayed at 2cm for hours! I went from 4cm to 9cm in like an hour 😊 I know the ending is rough and you just want it over but your so close! Get some rest and relax because you will have a little one very soon! 💜

Patience is key! I was only 1/2 a cm when I was 39 weeks on a Tuesday. By Friday afternoon I was only 2 cm. Friday night my water broke and I was still only 4 cm. I labored overnight at the hospital and didn't have LO until Saturday at 11:30 am. Baby will come when he/she is ready!!!! It'll be worth the wait. Promise!

With my daughter 7 years ago I was dialated 1cm for 6 weeks then a 2 at 38 weeks, but she was still 3 days overdue. It doesn't matter if you are dialated or not, the baby will come when he/she is ready. Everyone is different so you can't compare yourself to anyone else. Good luck and hope for a quick and easy delivery.

Hang in there! I had a doctor's appt at 38 weeks 6 days was only 1cm and she said I hadn't dropped yet and it would be awhile. 12 hours later I was in labour and another 32 hours later I had my baby at 39 weeks! So it is very possible :) some people are more dilated for days or weeks before actually going into labour, some people go into labour barely being dilated at all and go from there

Same here, my water started leaking at 39w3d and was not dialated at all.
I was induced & took me a whole day to get to 4cm. After that they broke my water completely & i was at 10cm withing 4 hours.
Dont stress about it, just relax & think about how soon you will meet your blessing❤️

My little one didn't drop and I didn't dilate at all until labor kicked in I was trying everything and walking like 5 miles a day but she was the only one who had any say in when she came hang in there I was 40+6 when she finally came

My little girl is 3 days old, I didn't dilate or efface until I was in labor, don't worry, it can happen at any time!

I didn't. I was 11 days over due with my daughter and I didn't dilate till they used cervidil to start my labour. Same with my son.
