Gbs test?

My doctor mentioned we will be doing that at my next appointment, is it uncomfortable or does it hurt to get the gbs test done...just want to prepare myself

It doesn't hurt at all. It's really quick actually. Might be a little uncomfortable having someone swab your privates but it's really no big deal! Super easy and quick.

Nope doesn't hurt at all! Just a q tip! They swab your cervix and it's over just like that.

Same here but they had me do it myself. They do make sure to tell you to swab the front first before you swab the back. For me it was a long q-tip but only required to swab the entrance of each private area.

It's really not painful. It's just kind of uncomfortable. They take a swab and swab from your vagina to your anus, it takes 5 seconds. It feels weird, but other than that it's super easy and quick. And if you test positive, it's a normal thing, you just get put on antibiotics during labor to keep baby from getting any germs.

I get mine done Monday I'm nervous because my sister just got hers done last week and said it was really painful

Same here mine was quick but just a little uncomfortable because they swab it. Wasn't bad at all though
