Is anyone else struggling with whether or not they still want to conceive?

We already have 2 wonderful boys,11 and 15. we decided at Christmas we want to try for a little girl . got my Mirena out in January but no luck conceiving yet. until April he was asking me every other week ' do you think you pregnant yet?' It was like our first year marriage over again we couldn't keep our hands off of each other ! As soon as AF left, he was after me again. I loved it!

now he doesn't seem to care. he doesn't even mention it and he was the one that's been bugging me for years about it. We are both almost 40 I waffle between 'I really want a baby' & "we really don't need a baby"

I'm so confused and sad about it.
