Cramping...again

So I got my Skyla last week, had a day of cramping and then nothing. No spotting (I got it on the last day of my period, and I never have spotting even when changing pills in the past). I had sex for the first time last night and suddenly I am really crampy again and spotting. The cramps both today and when I first got it feel like normal cramps, except it's more of a continual dull ache than the on-and-off cramps I usually get. Is this normal, or could my boyfriend have agitated something?  He says he couldn't feel anything different.
