Pregnant?

I noticed the last couple days that I have been spotting and that's unusual for me. I got my period a couple weeks ago but I took a pregnancy test just in case and it came back positive. I'm really worried because I'm not ready to have children. And I'm on the pill and take it everyday at the same time. I'm just wondering how accurate home pregnancy tests are? Literally can't get this out of my mind.
