18th Birthday!

So I turn 18 on September 6, but I plan to go on vacation to Florida on the 3rd. If my mom doesn't approve of me going on vacation and I am leaving 3 days before my 18th birthday, do you think the police will do much? I'm staying in the country not taking a plane or anything. I don't think they will do anything since I'll literally be 18 in 3 days but I'd like opinions. Please be honest but not rude.
